Events 2004/5Pegasus Christmas Curry Points to note in the above clip: At times indecipherable, yet this is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the evening. Weetch, having seated himself at the head of the table, rises to address those assembled at 'The Palms of Goa'. He can be heard to say "It is about the time of year that we take stock of the season...". Unfortunately his flow is interrupted by one of the waiters who is rebuffed with the line "I'm making a speech". At this point Moxon can be heard to utter something along the lines of "take it away mate" (although it is likely that he in fact asked the waiter to "take HIM away, mate"). Anyway, Weetch seeks to take advantage of this interlude in his oratory by enquiring as to whether the beleagured waiter could perhaps furnish him with "...a small platform". His subsequent rendition of "I'm a little teapot" has been deemed unsuitable for public consumption. Those who missed out on the official tour of "The Palms of Goa" Indian restaurants in the Soho area really missed a treat (for the uninformed it should be noted that there are in fact 2 restaurants of that name in Soho).
