25% - Mark Stevens

22% - Guy Bowden

19% - Christos Antonio

7% - Shannon Eastwood

Many congratulations to Edd who just pips Mark to the costume!

Round-up after Week 18

The battle against the drop is on! A 3-0 victory over A&O sees Pegasus out of the drop zone.

26th November 2006

Round-up after Week 12

Finally a WIN! A comfortable 3-1 victory over Baker & Mackenzie sees Pegasus up to 6th in the table (or 5th from bottom). Can the Templars finally string some form together?

Round-up after Week 9

Is there a direct correlation between success and poor sportsmanship ratings by opponents? The new "Discipline" section on the LLL site shows Pegasus at the bottom of the sportsmanship table. It is perhaps no coincidence that immediately above them are Lovells (3rd Division Champions) and Linklaters (1st Division Champions). Perhaps it is also true that oft victorious teams are likely to be more generous when scoring their crushed opponents. Anyway, it is always pleasant to receive a visitation from the League Secretary as he took in a couple of recent games which saw the Templars emerge with 4 points. Despite a recent unbeaten run, we find ourselves very much in the midst of a relegation dog-fight. Can the Gaffer eek out a couple of crucial wins?

17th September 2006

Round-up after Week 2

After two battling performances Pegasus find themselves just off the bottom of the table with a solitary point, no goals for and one goal against. Can Gaffer O'Brien mastermind the end of this goal-drought?

Round-up after Week 26

"OUT OF THE WILDERNESS!"

Lovells stroll away with the league title, but all eyes were on the 8.30pm clash at walthamstow between Kirkpatricks and Withers. Needing only a point for promotion Kirkpatricks were crushed 3-0 by a strong Withers side who are the toast of the Temple. That result puts Pegasus up with Lovells and means that the greatest rivalry in amateur astroturf-based football will be renewed next season!

26th March 2006

Round-up after Week 25

Two dramatic weeks in the Third Division has set up a grandstand finish to the season. A last gasp Mark Stevens winner saw Pegasus snatch all three points against FFW in Week 24. However the Templars are now reliant upon victory against title favourites Lovells and either Lovells or Kirkpatricks losing their last match if the dream of promotion is to be realised. This follows an agonising Pegasus draw against Dentons while Kirkpatricks suffered a similar fate against BPP in Week 25.

12th March 2006

Round-up after Week 23

No game for the Templars this week, but with two games played in the third division things are getting very tight. Kirkpatricks squeezed 3 points out of Field Fisher with a 2-1 victory. Meanwhile, Withers kept themselves in the hunt with a 2-0 win over the mighty Wessing. Week 24 sees four fixtures in Division 3 and theres still all to play for!

19th February 2006

Round-up after Week 20

Its getting toward the business-end of the season. Pegasus got back to winning ways against Withers. Elsewhere, Lovells continued their march toward promotion with a good win over a rejuvenated Freshfields. Undoubtedly the result of the week saw Taylor Wessing put a dent in the title challenge of DWS by registering their first three points (ever?). Tobias Eaton stays at the top of the Golden Boot table while O.G. remains in contention for honours.

22nd January 2006

Round-up after Week 16

Cup Week, with no fixtures in the Third Division. Pegasus completed their trilogy of matches against Taylor Wessing with a comfortable 4-0 victory in the Weavers Cup. At the time of writing the LLL website suggests that referees have taken to awarding 'fractions of a goal' (perhaps for style) with Farrers beating Dentons 1.5-1.4 and Field Fisher thumping Freshfields 1.3-1.1 - Won't FIFA ever leave the game alone?! Tobias Eaton remains at the top of the Golden Boot table with O.G. moving up a couple of places.

20th November 2005

Round-up after Week 11

Cup Week, but three fixtures took place in the Third Division. Pegasus held on to top spot with their 7-0 hammering of Wessing. Kirkpatricks fought out a 1-1 draw with Withers while BPP crushed the occasionally useful Farrers 6-1. This leaves the Templars 3 points clear but Lovells have a game in hand. After the goalfest at Battersea this week, Tobias Eaton dragged his substantial frame to the top of the Golden Boot table with Edd O'Brien and Henry Drayton in close attendance.

3rd November 2005

Round-up after Week 9

Another walk-over saw Pegasus up to third with other results going our way this week. Fishers and Kirkpatricks fought out a 2-2 draw which left the battle for the 3rd Division title wide open. Elsewhere perhaps the result of the week came at Mile End where everyone's favourite minnows, Taylor Wessing, picked up their first point of the season (/decade?) against the unpredictable Withers. Back with the Templars: Oliver Weetch holds on to his position at the top of the Golden Boot table despite not taking to the turf in three weeks - will anyone topple him?

Under New Management

Pegasus unveiled their new management team this week with the announcement that Mark Stevens and Edd O'Brien have penned one-year player-manager contracts. They quickly revealed that Alex Wise would be joining their back-room staff. Stevens was swift to praise the work of departing gaffer Jon Rees, "Reesy came in when the Club was struggling both on and off the pitch. He leaves with the foundations of a good side in place and the Club's debts finally cleared." Stevens and O'Brien have already made their intentions clear with pre-season training beginning on Saturday 21st May at Kennington.
